A veteran of the financial services industry since 1998, Ed became President of Rummel Benefits Group in January 2019. In addition to earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Alma College in 1996, he received the Certified Financial Planner™ designation from the College for Financial Planning in Denver in 2007.
Working with business owners, corporate officers, and “the couple next door,” Ed has accumulated invaluable experience in personal and business financial planning.
Ed is also the owner of Rummel Benefits Group, Co., whose insurance services complement the financial planning practice of Rummel Wealth Management.
Ed helps clients with values-based plans and ensures all their financial choices and decisions are in alignment with what is most important to them. He is proud of the proven processes allowing clients to gain additional perspective on their financial lives. He is thrilled to work alongside a team of subject matter experts to help his clients achieve their financial goals for the reasons that matter the most.
Ed holds the appropriate licensing and registrations to assist and recommend life insurance, annuities, disability insurance, long-term care, health insurance, mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, and bonds.
Married with six girls, Ed still finds time after the kids' and grandkids' activities to remain involved in community events such as the Frankenmuth Community Foundation and Frankenmuth Rotary.

Marc Stasik helps people make smart decisions by simplifying financial advice.
Since 2012, he has helped clients through all phases of life. Marc enjoys working with business owners, and has expertise with pre-retirees. His knowledge of Social Security, the health insurance Marketplace, and Medicare helps clients develop retirement income strategies and retire with confidence.
Prior to his career as a Financial Advisor, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and an MBA from Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School of Management (Midland).
Having a passion for community service, he is a past-President of the Frankenmuth Morning Rotary Club, former Treasurer of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, and served as a board member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club. With a love for sports and a heart for teaching kids, he also coached football at Frankenmuth High School.
Marc, his wife Lisa, and their two children live in Oviedo, Florida, and spend the summer in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Shelby Shea is a seasoned HR Manager and Operations Manager with a specialized focus in group insurance. With over a decade of experience in human resources and insurance, Shelby has developed a keen understanding of the intricacies involved in HR and insurance including how benefits play a crucial role in attracting and retaining employees. Shelby also strives to provide exceptional customer service and partner with clients to help create benefit packages that ensure they stay competitive yet simple.
Shelby holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and is a Licensed Life and Health Agent.
Shelby and her husband Mat are a proud military family with 5 children, and 3 grandchildren and live in Freeland. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, golfing, and traveling.

Kae Romeo is a seasoned health insurance agent with over 11 years of experience in the industry. Specializing in providing exceptional customer service, Kae has built a reputation for being knowledgeable, reliable, and empathetic.
Throughout her career, she has assisted countless clients in navigating the often-complex world of health insurance. Whether it’s helping companies find the right coverage, explaining policy details, or solving intricate issues, Kae’s expertise ensures that clients feel supported and well-informed.
Kae and her husband Matt have two boys, and a bulldog named Walter. In her free time, she enjoys family time, redoing furniture, reading, fitness, and being outside in her gardens.

The Rummel Benefits Group, with offices in Frankenmuth, Caro, and Saginaw, has announced that Cole Stephens has joined the team as a life, health, and Financial Advisor. Cole joins Rummel Benefits Group with several years of experience and will specialize in health and life insurance and is dedicated to serving his clients. He is also a seasoned professional in comprehensive financial planning, helping clients & employers across multiple states navigate their financial future. Growing up in Frankenmuth, Cole finds solace in exploring and spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and daughter.
Medicare Agent
Carrie Atkinson, after a successful 25-year career as a math teacher, has joined Rummel Benefits Group as a Medicare Agent. Carrie’s brother, the owner of the business, inspired her to make the transition into helping others navigate Medicare options. Carrie loves spending time outdoors, particularly in the summer months, and is often found riding her bike or taking long walks. She is married to a fellow teacher and has two sons currently attending Michigan State University. Carrie looks forward to serving the community in her new role.
Account Executive
As Operations Manager for Rummel Benefits Group, Mark Danaho is responsible for the back-office operations, playing an integral role in the continued success of the firm and managing a variety of financial reporting tasks, including the processing of documents and trade executions. Mark holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registrations. In addition, Mark is licensed in Michigan for accident and health insurance and life insurance.
A veteran of the United Sates Navy, Mark served forward deployed in Italy for his entire enlistment as an Operations Specialist. Mark grew up in Flushing, Michigan and his wife Lina was born and raised in Italy. They have two children and eleven grandchildren. Mark and his wife, in their spare time, serve their community and church as volunteers. Mark is a Deacon in the Catholic Diocese of Lansing and serves as Deacon at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Flint Michigan. He really enjoys the customer service aspect of business and is available from 8:00am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

Trecia Maxwell is a licensed professional with over seven years of experience in the insurance industry. She is an Account Manager servicing all Medicare, health insurance, and life insurance customers.
Trecia and her husband Tim have two wonderful daughters and two dogs and have been happily married for 27 years. She enjoys spending time with family, all animals, reading fishing, nature walks, and anything outdoors.

Hunter Bernthal is an ambitious and driven intern currently licensed in life and health insurance. A proud 2024 graduate of Frankenmuth High School, Hunter is now pursuing a business degree at the University of Michigan-Flint, majoring in finance with a minor in economics.
When he's not focused on his academic and professional pursuits, Hunter enjoys spending time with friends, staying active through exercise, and engaging in his passion for sports, both as a player and a fan. His diverse interests and strong work ethic make him a well-rounded individual, ready to tackle the challenges of the future in both business and the insurance industry.
